Playgroup
0–3 year olds
Join us to take your first step from home into our community. Our Playgroup is a warm space to begin building meaningful connections which lead to friendships you’ll take with you into the school years beyond.
Here, babies and toddlers and their caregivers, enjoy play, loving interaction and nourishing homemade food, story and song.
Love and play
The young child is best nurtured in a homely environment, where loving relationships, steady rhythm and routine of daily life, and wholesome nutrition can be established.
To help parents learn more about these things and provide social time for their child as well as themselves as adults, the school runs five Playgroups, one each morning of the week and an afternoon Pregnancy to Walking Playgroup once a week. Parents attend one of these with their child and an experienced Playgroup facilitator runs the morning that has songs, story, play time, activities and morning tea, where children and parents interact together.
The child who lives in such an atmosphere of love and warmth and who has around him really good examples for his imitation, is living in his right element.
